On ANZAC Day, Tuesday 25th April, 2006 the fifth member of our family arrived weighing 3620 grams (7lbs, 15oz) and 53cm long. John was born at 3:16am after just 3 hours of labour and only 45 minutes of that spent in the hospital! It wasn't without complications, as poor little John tried to strangle himself with his cord and subsequently spent 12 hours in special care. John arrived on his late great- grandfather's birthday and so shares his name.
